Snowmobiling
With our high end quiet, clean burning, economical and four-stroke sporty snowmobiles, we are capable of reaching high speed torque levels to ensure you get the full throttle experience of a lifetime as we ride into the teeth of a young blizzard. This is what snowmobiling is all about riding with friends, work collegues or family into the spectacular places inaccessible by any other way, taking in the incredible scenery, nature, stunning views on offer to cleanse your soul. Best of all it wipes away every trace of burn out leaving you invigorated and energized !
Day 1:
Departure from Stockholm Arlanda airport for a inbound transfer 40 minutes flight to Mora. At the airport we will pick you up in a minibus travel towards the accommodation for the first night's stay at Orsa Grönklitt Ski resort. We will eat a mutual dinner,get the chance to get acquainted with the guides before discusing all the information and answer any questions you might have about the trip ahead. Afterwards we shall hand out all your thermal clothing, boots and helmets that you have booked in advance and check sizes. Then finally get you to sign all the legal paperwork required regarding the rental of the snowmobiles.
Day 2:
After Breakfast, we shall all gather outside the parking lot for a pep talk surrounding all the safety issues. At around 10am we depart into the Swedish wilderness,stopping along the way to enjoy a outdoor lunch pack. Please note whilst we are Snowmobiling during the whole day we plan for regular intervals of Water, Play, take in the vast scenery on offer and of course catching one’s breath!
At dawn we will arrive at the overnight stay in the deep forest of an exclusive trapper’s cottage fully equipped with a bar and dining area where you will be served a succulent spare ribs dinner or vegetarian delight . Afterwards what better way than to soak those aching limbs than a Sauna and Hot tub underneath the starry skies in the middle of nowhere, simply relax and unwind with snacks and some cold beers or light refreshments.
Day 3:
In the morning awake to a breakfast in the middle of a picturesque forest taking in all the pin drop surroundings, leaving the cottage at approx 10am on the Snowmobiles and heading back towards civilization where again a stop over for our lunch box and drinks.
In late afternoon we arrive at your new accommodation and park the sleds. Take a warm shower and/or a sauna. In the evening you can take a refreshing short walk to the Ski resorts restaurant where you can eat a nice dinner or enjoy a fine malt whisky in the local tavern
Day 4:
Some free time to do exactly what you want before the journey home. A chance perhaps to do some shopping for souvenirs and sightseeing in Mora , Places of interest include the Vasaloppet Museum and the Zorn collection at the local art gallery. or take a short trip and visit the wonderful predator center where you you will be able to view Polar bears, Arctic foxes and Wolfs and lynxes up close. Or just relax and take in the marvelous surrounding this area has to offer and reflect on this wonderful adventure journey that you have just experienced.
Our minibus departs at 15.30pm towards Mora airport for your connecting flight back to.
Please note that the outbound flight leaves at 16.55pm and arrives at Stockholm Arlanda airport at 17.45pm.
